Choosing A Course
- If it's your first time here at LDA we will help you to choose the right salsa course for you we can arrange an evaluation time with one of our instructors to see how high we can place you in our program.
- Evaluations can only be done every Tuesday at Cecil Sharp House or/and Wednesday at the Kajima Centre between 6.30pm and 10pm.
- If you are already a LDA student you will need to ask your teacher before moving up into a new level. If you are not sure please don’t hesitate to ask the teachers for help and advice.
- To achieve a completed and continuous learning program, it is not possible to do 2 or more Salsa (partner-work) courses at the same time.
- Please be aware that LDA is ONLY running one course for each Salsa level at the moment. If we allow you to take more than one course you may be taking somebody else’s space who may need it more than you.
- We want to be fair and give the opportunity to people to choose their right level. In the future LDA is planning to run more than one course at the time in each level, so students will be able to register for more than one Salsa course.
- Entry to levels Salsa 3.3, Salsa 4, Mambo 3 and Bachata 4 is subject to evaluation before registration.
- Latin Dance Academy reserves the right to cancel any course at any time with full refund, or roll over credit to the students affected by it.
- Latin Dance Academy reserves the right to refuse any student at any time.
- Student will not be allowed into the classroom until the time of his/her lesson. You will not be able to go in until the previous lesson is over.
- LDA reserves the rights to assign their teachers to each course according to the school and students needs

- No refunds or ROC will be given after the second session in a course.
- We cannot issue refunds or course roll over credits when registering late. That is once your first session has already begun.

General Class Notes
Clothing
Wear what ever you want! Clothing is optional! Come straight from work, or wear workout clothes or regular street wear!
Shoes
Only shoes with leather, suede, plastic, or foam soles are permitted on our wood dance floors. Rubber soles will destroy your knees over time and will leave a difficult film on the floors, which is hard to clean.
Mobile phones
Salsa is more fun with no mobile phones ringing! Please turn your mobile phone ‘Off’ or set it to ‘Vibrate’ so as not to interrupt the class! Thank you so very much!
Guests
As much as we would love to have your guests watch your class, we sadly can’t. We hope you understand that it just makes your fellow salseros nervous!
Cameras
Video Cameras or Tape Recorders are not permitted in class.
Children
If you have little ones with you, please make sure you bring a friend to stay with them in the lobby and don’t leave them unattended. Our staff are easily distracted and cannot keep an eye on them for you. We regret that children cannot be permitted in the class.
Smoking
No smoking is only allowed inside the venues.
