Aleksandra

Photo of AleksandraAleksandra, according to her mums’ opinion started to dance even before being born. Apparently she was very fidgety child! That is why at the age of 6 her mum took her to dance classes and this is how the only child was hooked with a passion for dancing forever.
For over 10 years Aleksandra trained as a ballroom dancer but was keen to discover new disciplines and styles. At the age of 16 she became a YMCA dance leader and a member of youth musical theatre in her hometown in Poland. This is how she learned jazz and contemporary and after 3 years was known as one of the most well known talents on the scene.
Her 'true love' she found in 1999 during a holiday in Spain when she went to a local salsa club and danced like never before. Very soon she joined the largest salsa company in Poland. She worked with them as a professional dancer and teacher for over 4 years taking part in some of the largest salsa and hip-hop projects around Poland and Europe.
For the past 6 years Aleksandra has been on the London Salsa scene - known for her unique style and elegance on the dance floor. Believing it’s always time for improvement she has been training with the biggest salsa stars from all over the world.
She is a very passionate teacher and loves to spread the joy of dancing. ‘Life without that happiness wouldn’t make sense, that’s why dance is my best lover, music is my best friend!’– She says.
